The HYCON HRD28X is a high performing handheld rock drill designed for the toughest drilling applications in granite and concrete up to 6 meters of drilling depths.
The HYCON HRD28X hydraulic rock drill uses standard integral drill steel bits with air-flushing from an external compressor. The drill combines high performing hydraulic impact and rotation unit to make the HRD28X a light, powerful and efficient rock drill.
The HRD28X rock drill is ideal for anchoring holes as well as blast or splitting holes measuring between 25-50 mm, the air flushing action enables deeper holes to be drilled by clearing debris that would otherwise jam the drill bit. Combined with a compressor of your choice, it is made for underwater drilling, making it the professional divers rock drill choice no.1. for drilling in water depths of upto 30m. The HRD28X rotates counter clockwise so drill bits and extensions are readily available.
Blending the hydraulic and pneumatic advantages in one product, you get a rock drill that can drill anywhere, go deeper and is still light enough to for sustained use.
Simply connect it to a hydraulic power pack and air compressor and start drilling.
