Hopkins GR05 Underwater Grinder 125mm (5″)
The Hopkins GR05 125mm (5″) underwater grinder for subsea cutting, grinding and cleaning a range of materials.
The GR05 is a compact yet powerful 5“ (125mm) grinder for a wide range of maintenance & inspection tasks. It is designed for cutting, grinding, cleaning and finishing of a wide range of materials.
To cover all markets the GR05 underwater grinder is available with either an M14 or 5/8”-11UNC spindle. Supplied with a hub nut and drive flange, we stock an extremely wide range of accessories for this tool. Cutting, grinding, flap discs, speciality discs and brushes are all available. This professional underwater grinder is powerful yet light and features a safety trigger system which prevents accidental operation.
In addition, the head of the tool can be rotated for diver comfort depending on the application. The power-to-weight ratio of the Hopkins GR05 underwater grinder makes it easy for divers to operate but still powerful enough to bring even the toughest jobs down to size.
The GR05 underwater grinder is perfect for smaller and medium sizes tasks. For many years the only underwater grinder available to commercial divers was the Stanley GR29. The GR05 does not replace the GR29, it compliments it so that the diver can select the most appropriately sized tool for the job.
The Hopkins GR05 underwater grinder comes in a protective carry case with both a 125mm (5″) diameter all cut diamond disc and a 125mm (5″) all grind diamond disc.
